Some Users of These Webs

See this syllabus for using Litonline webs to supply content for a Commonwealth Course, whether entirely online or mostly on-campus.

At one time, the Litonline site was used most heavily by the site builders.  Now, however, the site has been used by students and teachers on four continents, from third grade readers of Faulkner in Mexico to graduate students in Japan, Germany, and England, and even the occasional scholar (such as one in Italy) and film-maker (interested in Hemingway).

• For instance, Idana Hamilton has had her students work through the Litonline instructional web, Oedipus the Wreck.

• Eric Hibbison still opens every section of his course online and on-campus with a demonstration involving the short story "Hills Like White Elephants." The Litonline website about this story has drawn email from students and a few teachers from China to Germany.

Two sample syllabi are currently linked below from the original team who initiated this site in 1997-1998.
